Arriving at the airport and getting our little red rental!
It was warm!!!

This is the house where Angela will be living in Colorado Springs.

Angela giving high 5's to Whit from the Adventures in Odyssey. We stopped at the Focus on the Family headquarters and they have the basement fixed up as Odyssey. Kinda neat.

We visited the Garden of the Gods and this is kissing camels.

Couldn't resist a few shops. Took awhile to talk Angela out of buying this specialty.

Balanced rock behind us in the Garden of the Gods.

More pics of the Garden.

Our fun little "red".

I took this picture at the house where we stayed. Looking at Pikes Peak in the background.

The Manitou Cliff Dwellers lived here in the 1800's.

Sunday morning I was surprised to see a family friend at church. Floyd Miller lived with our family for 2 1/2 years when I was a baby. This is his wife, Edy. I spent Sunday evening in their home catching up on our families. What a delight!

Heading up to Pikes Peak in the cog train.

Still snow at the peak. It was 45 degrees at 9:30 a.m. and windy.

Behind us is New Mexico.

This was the only Big Horn Sheep we saw. I looked carefully through the binoculars up and down the mountain, but couldn't find one.

In the background is Laura waving from Kansas. You can see 5 states from the peak.

Colorado Springs in the background.

This is Barbel and Adelbert Goertz, our hosts for the weekend. They are from Germany.
After we got there and were talking, we discovered they know people from Kidron.

These are crop circles coming in to Denver on the way home. Weather affected some of our flights and I got home at 5:00 a.m., but it was a great weekend with Angela.
She will be moving to Colorado Springs on August 1.
